Bowls or lawn bowls is a sport in which the objective is to roll biased balls so that they stop close to a smaller ball called a "jack" or "kitty". Ten-pin bowling is a competitive sport where players roll a bowling ball on a wooden or synthetic lane towards the 10 pins placed at the end of the lane. The objective is to knock down all ten pins on the first roll of the ball (a strike), or failing that, on the second roll. It is a popular sport all around the world and played by millions.

A sport horse is a type of horse, rather than any particular breed. The term is usually applied to horses bred for the traditional Olympic equestrian sporting events of dressage, eventing, show jumping, and combined driving, but the precise definition varies.
